what to do with it
You feel the compulsion
to just keep looking back
thinking the somber thoughts
and listening to the sad songs
Your mind wishes you
to experience better things
and rejoice and be happy
to quell that feeling

What originality do I have
when every word is already taken?
Some say love songs are too cliché.
Some say reading poetry to your lover
is just too old-fashioned.
I say every cliché comes from truth.
I say what's wrong with using other's words
when they show exactly how you feel.
I suppose I am old-fashioned;
Love should come before a relationship
Love should be eternal and everlasting
You treat others with respect, honor and dignity
no matter how you feel about them.
You think fairly and evenly
Equality and justice should go to everyone
